Cat Marginalia: Mischief in the Margins — 2027 Calendar
A wonderfully strange 2027 wall calendar inspired by the mischievous cats, animals and absurd scenes found in medieval manuscript marginalia.
Each month features a different illustrated scene of feline misbehaviour, from royal cats and musical performers to sausage theft, castle attacks, improbable transport and festive December chaos.
The artwork uses parchment textures, illuminated initials, medieval-style decoration and the deliberately naïve character of manuscript marginalia, creating a calendar that is decorative, humorous and distinctly unusual.
